On Friday, September 20, we suggest all staff in MacMillan, 200 Elm and News South shut down their computers and power off all peripheral devices (i.e. printers, scanners, monitors) as a precaution before they leave for the day.
Water service to the MacMillan building will be temporarily unavailable on Wednesday, September 18 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM to complete the new dust collector system installation in the carpentry shop. We appreciate your patience.
Facilities needs to interrupt power in the MacMillan building on Saturday, August 24 starting at 6 a.m. to complete installation of new dust collection equipment in the carpentry shop. There will be no power, phones or Wi-Fi inside the building during the interruption. Emergency systems will remain operational.
Please plan accordingly by shutting down electronic equipment on Friday, August 23, end of the day. Service will be restored as soon as possible. Thank you for your cooperation.
Each year Facilities conducts a one-day campus steam system shutdown to safely perform necessary and routine maintenance. This year the scope of our work enables us to limit steam shutdowns to specific areas of campus. However, in the unlikely event of a safety issue, we may have to shut off steam to other parts of campus. In all cases, we will minimize the duration of the impact as much as possible.
