We are proud to say over 250 Princeton University mattresses have been diverted from landfill garbage, thanks to a relationship with Renewable Recycling we began last summer. And that number will continue to rise.

"More than 50,000 mattresses are thrown away every day in the United States and can take 90 years to decompose in a landfill. About 85 percent of the mattress can be recycled, the coils melted down as scrap metal and the foam used for carpet padding," Mattress recycling saves money, creates jobs and is environmentally friendly (NBC Nightly News video).
