Phase 1 of a three-phase thermal piping project along Tilghman Walk (a.k.a Baker Lane) will be begin January 14, 2025 and is anticipated to take four weeks, ending February 14, 2025.  During this phase, a section of Tilghman Walk will be closed to vehicular traffic during the daytime hours to allow for excavation and pipe installation.  Traffic will be directed and controlled by flaggers at the intersection of Tilghman Walk and Elm Drive. Accommodations and coordination for deliveries to the Whitman Loading Dock, DPS and Baker Rink have been provided.   

A temporary guard booth will be in place and manned near the Baker Rink/Pyne Drive vehicle gate.  During working hours, alternating traffic will be controlled by flaggers. After working hours, road plates will be installed along the work area to allow for normal vehicular movements. Please use caution when in the area.  

The overall project is scheduled to be complete by mid-April 2025.
