Roads around campus will experience closures and detours from February 2018 through July 2019 as we complete a campus electrical infrastructure project to increase our electrical and OIT capacity to serve future Campus buildings. Sidewalks in the construction area will remain open during the closure. Motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians are urged to use caution and follow posted detour signs. We appreciate your cooperation as we work in sections to install pipes and build our distribution network.

Fitzrandolph road closure - use Broadmead Street [complete]

  • April 9 - May 22 (Faculty to Western Way/Ivy Lane)

Faculty Road east closure, Part 1 - use Ivy Lane/Western Way [complete]

  • May 23, 9 am - May 30, 11 pm (from Lot 21 entrance adjacent to Denunzio Pool to Fitzrandolph) 
  • Lot 21 will be accessible from the entrance adjacent to Denunzio Pool and from Fitzrandolph

Faculty Road east closure, Part 2 - access Lot 21 from Fitzrandolph

  • June 11 - August 24 - from Washington Road to Fitzrandolph Road

Western Way/Ivy Lane closure - continued access to parking lots

  • June 11 - August 31 - Fitzrandolph to parking lot Lot 14
  • access to parking lots will be maintained from at least one direction

Faculty Road west evening closures - follow detour signs

  • June 11 - August 24 - Elm/Faculty circle to Washington Road closed to traffic in the evening, approx. 7pm - 5am

Faculty & Washington evening alternating traffic - detour TBD

  • August 13 - 17 - Washington Road & Faculty intersection  

Elm Drive - use access road through Lot 20 from Faculty road

  • June 11 - July 2 - between Elm/Faculty circle and South Drive
  • Please DO NOT turn left into Lot 20, go around the circle and turn right
