UPDATE: These power interruptions are moving to the weekend of May 18.

During the weekend of May 18 two short power interruptions will occur to various buildings on the east side of campus.

During the brief power interruptions on Saturday and Sunday, emergency power will provide general safety lighting and power anything connected to emergency generation*. Before leaving Friday, May 17, we recommend you shut down your computer and power off peripheral devices (i.e. printers, scanners, monitors) as a precaution if you work in any of the affected buildings. These power interruptions were scheduled on a weekend in May to minimize the impact to campus, while also ensuring the work is performed before the end of Spring.

Below is a list of buildings that will experience a 15 minute outage on Saturday morning, May 18 and another one on Sunday, May 19. We are working with PSE&G to prepare for our new Charlton substation and the timing of Sunday’s interruption will depend on when the work is complete.
