Located on the former site of the Hibben and Magie apartments, this complex provides housing for more than 700 graduate students in 74 townhome units and 255 apartments. Also included is a "commons" area with a fitness center, lounge, a computer cluster with a printer, and a children's playroom. The complex features outdoor common areas including a patio for barbecuing, basketball and volleyball courts, and a parking garage with over 400 spots for Lakeside residents.
The project meets or exceeds Princeton's sustainability standards. The University has achieved LEED silver certification, a standard established by the U.S. Green Building Council, for the buildings. The site plans are designed to promote walking, biking and mass transit, through pathways connecting to campus, bicycle storage, and the TigerTransit shuttle stop. Over 600 trees have been planted on the apartment complex grounds to maintain the park-like character of the site.
