An efficient, simple, and inexpensive way to advertise an undergraduate student event is to hang a banner over McCosh Walk. All you need to do is request space and supply the banner, and we will hang it for you.
While Facilities does the hanging, you must reserve one of four 'wire spaces' through ODUS. Also, your undergraduate student organization must supply the banner and it can hang over McCosh Walk for a maximum of four days.
Follow the process below to hang a banner over McCosh Walk:
- Review the Banner reservation calendar to ensure space is available on the date(s) needed
- Submit the ODUS Student Organization Banner Reservation Request Form
- Deliver the banner to the MacMillan building no later than 3 p.m. of the business day prior to your reservation.
- Indicate on the request form if you would like the banner returned to you, and if yes we will send it back to you via campus mail.
If you want the banner returned to you after use, please let us know so we can send it back to you via campus mail. If not, it will be thrown away.
To hang a banner across Washington Road, prior approval must be obtained through the Office of Community and Regional Affairs by calling (609) 258-5144.
Banner-hanging services cost $60 and will be billed to your organization.
