After you secure approval and a scheduled date from Transportation and Parking, Facilities can help remove a bike lock. Please note this service is only available if you have pre-registered your bicycle with the Office of Transportation and Parking Services, and requires proof of ownership prior to the removal of the lock.
You must complete the Bike Lock Removal Form on the Office of Transportation and Parking Services' website (please note there is no Facilities form to submit for this service). Once the Office of Transportation and Parking Services schedules the date and time, a Facilities employee will meet you at the location of your bike. You must remember to bring your completed bike lock removal form with you and give it to the Facilities staff member. The completed form is for your protection, verifying your bike will go only to you, the rightful owner. We will not remove a bike lock without a validated form.
