We vacuum carpets on a regular basis, and perform more intensive cleaning, called extracting, as needed. We do not clean decorative and area rugs, which are usually maintained by individual departments.

Carpet cleaning is a routine service and does not require a service request. However, if you notice an urgent problem in a University building, please call our customer service center.

Cost

Standard carpet cleaning is provided at no cost to you. Carpets soiled due to events, or as a result of carelessness, may result in a charge. Cleaning required outside of normal business hours may result in overtime charges.
