We maintain carpeting in University buildings. Carpeting is repaired and replaced on an as-needed basis.

Wall-to-wall carpets

Worn or frayed carpeting can pose a safety hazard. Submit a service request to set up an inspection so we can determine whether the carpeting needs to be replaced.

Area rugs

Worn or frayed area rugs may also pose a safety hazard and should be corrected. Decorative and area rug replacement and repair are the responsibility of the Department.

Cost

Inspection and replacement of worn carpet is provided at no cost to you.
